Player evaluations for baseball and softball are an important part of creating balanced teams by placing players in the appropriate division and evenly distributing skill levels across teams. Evaluations help players grow their skills and ensure a fun, positive season for everyone.
Evaluations are required for all players wanting to participate in A (Machine Pitch), or Softball Junior Minors (Age 7+) and above. If you player is unable to participate in evaluations it may limit the level they are eligible to be drafted into.
Please note: evaluations are not tryouts. All registered players will be placed on a team. Evaluations simply help league volunteers understand each player’s current experience and ability so teams can be formed fairly and safely.
Please check your email for details on evaluations for your division. Evaluations are scheduled from January 20–24. Evaluations are NOT required for T‑Ball.
Baseball evaluations at Horseshoe Trails Elementary Fields
1/21 (Wed) 5p-9p
1/22 (Thurs) 5p-9p
1/24 (Sat) 11am-1p
Softball Evaluations: Saturday 1/24, Fitz Field (BMES)
1/24 (Sat) 10am-12p
Please register for only one session (Tee Ball is excluded)
Please refer to the Little League Age Chart for your players 2026 age.
